Troy High School Girls Basketball Update 12/31/2025

The Troy High School Varsity Girls Basketball team has officially launched its 2025-26 campaign, navigating a challenging early-season schedule in the Oakland Activities Association (OAA) White Division. Under the leadership of the Colts’ coaching staff, the team has demonstrated a balanced mix of defensive grit and offensive efficiency, posting a 3-1 record through the month of December.

The season opened with a statement win on the road against Waterford Kettering, where the Colts' defense stifled the opposition in a 33-20 victory. This defensive trend continued into their next matchup against Bishop Foley, where Troy found their offensive rhythm to secure a commanding 60-36 win. Returning home to face league rival Seaholm, the Colts grinded out a 36-27 victory to remain undefeated through three games. However, the early-season streak was halted just before the holiday break by a tough Rochester squad, resulting in a 25-49 loss.

Season Performance and Statistics

As of late December 2025, the Troy Colts hold an overall record of 3-1, with a 1-1 record in league play. The team currently holds the second-place spot in the Oakland - White standings. Early statistical leaders have emerged, with the team showing depth across the roster.
