The season opened with a tough road trip to Immanuel Baptist on December 9, where the Eagles' offense struggled to find its rhythm in a 39–11 loss. However, the team quickly turned the page. Returning home on December 11, Bethany Christian engaged in a defensive battle against More Academy.
