In the world of high school hockey, perception can change as fast as a slap shot. Three years ago, Troy United was a program many wrote off before the puck even dropped. Today, they are the team nobody wants to see on the schedule.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Josh Brown, Troy United has undergone a seismic shift in culture and performance. "We went from being talked about having only one win on the season when I started... to being talked about having only two losses so far," Brown reflects. "It makes a huge difference for conversation moving forward."
That conversation is now centered on a single word: Champions.
A Historic Run to the Title
On January 12th, Troy United officially clinched the 25-26 OAA White Division Championship, finishing with a flawless record in divisional play. The road to the title was paved by a dominant December where the team went undefeated (7-0), proving that their early-season success was no fluke.
According to Coach Brown, the turning point came just three weeks into the season during an away trip to Muskegon. By sweeping both games on the road, the team found the "momentum boost" that defined their trajectory.

While team success is the priority, individual history was made on January 19th. Senior Captain Joey Clark etched his name into the program’s lore by setting a new Troy United scoring record with 111 career points.
