Monday: Artistic Exploration
Kick off the week at the Troy Public Library from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM with Smear Abstract Painting. Designed for tweens (ages 9–13), this session moves away from traditional brushwork. Participants will use scrapers and fingertips to create unique, messy masterpieces. Registration is required.
Tuesday: Networking and Philanthropy
The 2026 Gal-entine’s Day Mixer takes place Tuesday morning from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Hosted by the Women’s Business Forum at the Troy Chamber of Commerce, this event blends professional networking with community service. Attendees will create personalized Valentines for residents of Brookdale Troy Assisted Living while enjoying light refreshments.
Wednesday: Nature and Professional Growth
Wednesday offers programming for both ends of the age spectrum. At 10:00 AM, the Stage Nature Center hosts Winter Toddler Time, where kids ages 2–4 can learn about "Bees" through stories, crafts, and snacks. Meanwhile, the Leadership Enrichment Group meets at the PNC Building at 8:30 AM to discuss Mentoring & Coaching. Guest speaker Alan Panter will provide insights into choosing the right coach and fostering professional growth.
Thursday & Friday: Family Fun Nights
The Troy Community Center provides the perfect end to the week. Thursday’s Kids Night Out (6:30 PM – 9:30 PM) offers basketball, swimming, and crafts for children ages 3–12. On Friday, parents can enjoy their own Parents' Night Out from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. While parents take a break, children in Grades K–5 will participate in "Mad Science" experiments and organized games.
Pro Tip: Most events require pre-registration. Visit the Troy Recreation or Troy Chamber websites to confirm availability.
