DETROIT, MI – December 20, 2025 – As the holiday season prepares for its grand finale, Detroit and its vibrant surrounding communities are brimming with energy, offering a spectacular array of events for the weekend of December 27-28, 2025. Saturday, December 27th: A Full Day of Excitement

Saturday kicks off with a diverse lineup of events. Music enthusiasts can choose from the bombastic return of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve at Little Caesars Arena with two shows at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM. The Fox Theatre will host A Night of Holiday Soul at 8:00 PM, featuring Will Downing, Leela James, and Avery*Sunshine. For funk lovers, Morris Day & The Time will be grooving at the Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel at 8:00 PM. The electronic and jazz-influenced sounds of Shigeto Live at The Station can be experienced at Michigan Central Station with performances at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. The Knapp Detroit Public Library also offers a Family Movie and Game Day starting at 2:00 PM. Science buffs of all ages can explore the Leonardo Da Vinci: Machines in Motion exhibition at the Michigan Science Center during regular museum hours.
