The Great Catsby Scavenger Hunt is taking place at the Elmwood Park Branch to celebrate Happy Cat Month. The event is available from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on both Tuesday, September 1, and Wednesday, September 2. Visitors are invited to participate in this "paw-some" themed activity.

The CCST IT Support Certification Preparation event will take place at the Main Library on Wednesday, September 2. From 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, participants will work with other learners on courses designed to prepare them for the certification exam.

Back to School Bingo will take place at the Campbell branch of the Detroit Public Library.

The Douglass Branch Library For Specialized Services is hosting a session on how to use MyChart for health needs. The event takes place on Wednesday, September 2, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Attendees will learn how to utilize the platform to manage their healthcare requirements.

The Watercolor Workshop will take place at the Wilder Branch on Wednesday, September 2, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Participants are invited to unleash their creativity and create masterpieces using watercolor painting. The session is designed for attendees to either learn new techniques or paint naturally.

A concert featuring Lorraine, Spring Breeding, Mindfull, Kynes Peace, Year of the Snake, and We Will Kill You In 3 will take place at TSDMAAC. The event is all ages, though those under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All tickets are general admission and final, with strict policies against re-entry and outside food or beverages.
