Mt. Elliott Cemetery, founded in 1841, is the oldest surviving cemetery within the city of Detroit and part of the Mt. Elliott Cemetery Association, which also operates several other area cemeteries. It offers burial, cremation, and preplanning services, and was recognized as a runner-up in the American Cemetery Excellence 2025 Awards.
